GTA Online patch notes: Triple rewards in Hunting Pack, discounts galore, and a sweet cash bonus

Memorial Day-themed swag and more in this week's GTA Online update

This week's GTA Online patch notes are the usual avalanche of bonus rewards, discounts, and more - just now with a side of patriotism.

Enjoy triple GTA$ and RP in Hunting Pack, where you're tasked with recreating a GTA version of Speed: a heavy vehicle is rigged with explosives that detonate if a team doesn't maintain a certain speed - and the other team is trying to slow that vehicle down. You can earn triple rewards in all Freemode events this week, and double GTA$ and RP in Stockpile and all Mobile Operations missions.

Complete 10 Daily Objectives from now until May 27 and you'll get a one-time gift of GTA$1M - and if you haven't logged on yet, there's a one time gift for the month of May of GTA$500,000. That's a lot of money to be had for a little work.

There's some Memorial Day themed swag hitting GTA Online this week as well, including a free clothing item you'll get just for logging in: the Blue Jock Cranley Jumpsuit in all its Evil Kenevil glory. Add that to the free firework launcher and ammo, and select, patriotic MOC liveries, and you've got yourself a Memorial Day party.

This week, the GTA Online casino car is the Bravado Half-Track, which you can win as the Lucky Wheel's top prize. And there's a whole host of new discounts for you to enjoy, as well. Here's all the GTA Online discounts for this week:

  • Hangars - 50% off
  • Hangar modifications - 50% off
  • BF Ramp Buggy - 50% off
  • Mammoth Patriot Stretch - 50% off
  • Buckingham Akula - 50% off
  • Volatol - 50% off
  • Truffade Thrax - 40% off
  • Declass Scramjet - 40% off
  • TM-02 Khanjali - 40% off
  • Yachts - 40% off

GTA Online players who connect their Social Club account to Twitch Prime will get GTA$200,000 for playing at any point between now and May 27, a rebate on Pixel Pete's Arcade base property in Paleto Bay and the following discounts:

  • Mammoth Tula plane - 80% off
  • Grotti Furia supercar - 80% off

And keep in mind that Rockstar is donating 5% of April and May revenue to COVID-19 relief efforts, so if you were thinking about spending some money on in-game goodies, now's a great time.
